As a Lead Carpenter, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality residential construction projects. You'll lead smaller projects under a Project Manager or manage a crew on larger job sites under a Foreman. With a focus on precision, safety, and efficiency, you'll help maintain New Blue's reputation for quality while enjoying a supportive and growth-focused workplace.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute high-end residential construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Lead and manage a team of carpenters, ensuring productivity and quality.
  • Anticipate and address project needs to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites while adhering to company policies.
  • Record daily activities using company-provided software.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
  • Uphold New Blue's core values and commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of residential construction experience.
  • Advanced skills in framing, trim carpentry, and base/case/crown installation.
  • Strong knowledge of structural components, load paths, and code requirements.
  • Proficiency in window and door installation, including flashing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Working understanding of subcontractor workflows and needs.
  • Possession of a full set of basic carpentry tools and most specialty tools.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a fully insured vehicle.
